Next week , beginning Monday, December 15th, Jesse Sims will be covering new topics in his ANGEL sessions in Elluminate.

CLOSED:Training for NEW Online Instructors begins December 15th
The first class for instructors new to online teaching will begin on December 15th. This two-week class is a replacement for the old Planning for Success course, and it has the same outcome

Provides training in how to use ANGEL
The course, as always, is free to anyone in our system, and it is available to anyone. It starts December 15 and ends December 31. Please let instructors know that this is the pilot offering, so we will be interested in their feedback on content and on the length of the course.

This training is for instructors who are new to online. It is not required for instructors who have already taken Planning for Success, although anyone is welcome to sign up.

Fall Grades for Shared Courses Due Monday, December 8th
Today, Wednesday December 3rd, is the last day of instruction for ALL fall shared courses.
WAOL fall grades for ALL shared courses are due next Monday, December 8th, and need to be submitted no later than midnight or they will not be sent off to the students’ enrolling colleges.
Student access to BB and their fall classrooms will be turned off on Wednesday, December 10th. If there are any grade changes that need to be made after December 8th they will need to be emailed directly to our office so we can forward them along to the proper enrolling college(s).

ANGEL drop-in sessions in Elluminate with Jesse Sims
If you find, after you’ve used our online resources and have been playing around in your ANGEL classroom, that you’ve got questions you need answered please pop in to one of our ANGEL drop-in sessions. Jesse Sims, who has been supporting faculty with ANGEL for three years at Lower Columbia College, will be available to help.
Monday 9:00 am – 10:00 am
Tuesday 4:00 pm- 5:00 pm
Wednesday 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Thursday 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Friday 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
You will at least need desktop speakers for the session and can ask questions via the “chat” feature. If you have a headset with microphone, even better, you can use the audio to participate. Each session will begin with a presentation on the subject listed.
However, please bring any other questions about ANGEL that you might
