MyWAOL Faculty Accounts ONLY accessible through ANGEL

Audience: All faculty who teach using WAOL Course IDs

When: Beginning June 17th

What: Faculty now have access to the WAOL nugget only through WAOL ANGEL.  This change has two advantages:

  1. Faculty have one less logon place, userID and password to remember
  2. Since faculty will be starting in their college-based domain, their Intent to Teach forms will automatically be set up for that college, preventing a common error of choosing the wrong college

Some instructors who do not regularly use WAOL ANGEL have been using a MyWAOL account to access the media server. They now need an account in MyWAOL ANGEL.  Click for the self-registration form, which is the quickest and best way for them to get into WAOL ANGEL.

How: Once they are logged in, they must add the MyWAOL nugget by editing their ANGEL desktop. Instructions on how to do this can be found in this post.

Please note:  MyWAOL faculty accounts will no longer work from waol.org—only from WAOL ANGEL nugget.

However, college administrators must still log in to MyWAOL from waol.org until the admin nugget is completed.
