WAOL.org Downtime Alert forTuesday, March 6
Audience: All WAOL.org users
When: Tuesday 3/6/2012 9am
WAOL.org will be offline for maintenance starting next Tuesday morning at 9am continuing until noon. Three hours is the maximum downtime and we hope that the work will be completed more quickly.
During the cutover, the following services will be degraded or unavailable:
- WAOL.org – all site pages will be offline
- ANGEL Secure Log On - ANGEL logons will work as usual but the nugget will fallback to the standard ANGEL logon mode
- MyWAOL Nugget for Faculty – unavailable * College Portal SSO – Paul will distribute backup accounts to affected schools, so they can operate during the cutover
These sites or services will continue to operate:
- LMS Integration – no expected downtime for the P310 sync or SMS-ANGEL Integration, although the web management UI will be offline
- Site24x7 system monitoring
- WAOL Blog
- Online Writing Lab at owl.waol.org

MyWAOL Admin Accounts Unavailable
Who: WAOL Admins
What: We are currently working on trouble with MyWAOL Admin account logins and will continue to monitor this until it is corrected.
Blackboard Support Services Maintenance- Dec. 17th
System Maintenance – Dec 17th, 1 AM
Parature will be upgrading storage infrastructure on Saturday, December 17th from 1 AM to 7 AM EST. During this 6 hour window, inbound email will be held, but will not convert into new tickets or ticket replies. These held emails sent during the window will be processed at the end of the window. The Parature sandbox environment will also be unavailable during this time.
WAOL Fall 11 Shared Course Instruction Ends Today
WAOL fall grades for ALL shared courses are due next Monday, December 5th, and need to be submitted no later than midnight or they do not get recorded and sent off to the students’ enrolling colleges.
Student access to their ANGEL fall classrooms will be turned off on Wednesday, December 7th. If there are any grade changes that need to be made after December 5th they will need to be emailed directly to our office. We will then make the change in the WAOL Fall 11 database and send them off to the appropriate college.

ANGEL Hosting Maintenance: Friday, November 11th
Notice from Blackboard Hosting:
On Friday, November 11th, 2011 we will be applying ANGEL 7.4 SP15 to your Hosted ANGEL environment. The maintenance window will occur between 2 AM and 5 AM of your local time. Please keep in mind that your site may be unavailable during this time period. We will also be applying any outstanding Windows updates during this time.
